Pancake and Hash Brown

After coming to US, came across lot of new food and I didnt have liking for many of them. Pancake was one food in that category for a very long time. One reason was because I have to literally soak the pancake in maple syrup and eat it. I used to think as how people can eat this stuff that too first thing in the morning. Until quite recently a friend gave this tip.

Ingredients:
-------------
Banana -1
Egg - 1
Pancake mix - Any kinda mix

Method:
--------
Blend Banana to a smooth paste. You can use hand blender too.
Stir the Banana paste with Pancake mix and egg.
Cook on a hot griddle, using 1/4 cup of batter for a pancake.
When the edges are brown, flip it.
Cook until the flip side is brown.

You can eat pancake without any maple syrup too. The banana taste makes the pancake yum yum. And the pancake goes well with hash brown ( I got this recipe from another friend).

Ingredients: (2 Servings)
------------
Potato -2
Olive Oil -1 Tbsp or Butter - 1Tbsp
Grated Onion - 2 Tbsp
Black Pepper and Salt - as needed

Method:
--------
Cut the potatoes to very small pieces. You can grate too. I like cut ones(it is easier :) )
Heat Oil or butter in a skillet.
Put the potatoes and cook for few minutes. Turn them now and then.
When the potatoes are brown on all edges, put the grated onion and cook for a while.
Put black pepper and salt.

Enjoy the tasty breakfast.
